Last Minute Trip

Last weekend we decided last minute to take a trip down to St. George and Vegas. I was in desperate need to have a change of pace, plus we all needed a little sunshine. It was so nice to be able to go out side and not bundle everyone up in coats and hats. We could actually go for walks and play in the park. It was so much fun, I really didnt want to come home.
We spent one day in vegas just hanging out. We went to the Mirage Secret Garden. They have white tigers and lions and dolphins. My boys LOVE animals so the were in heaven. They spent probably 45 minutes just watching the dolphins. The lions and tigers didnt thrill them as much because they couldnt see them very well.

Josh is trying to unbluckle Taylor. They are very good at team work.

Josh playing at the park

You can tell they loved this dinosaur. They barley stayed on long enough for the pic.

This was their favorite thing at the park. They love balls. It was one of the first words they signed and now they mostly just say it.

This is Taylor making the dolphin noise. When you see him putting his had in the air he is signing fish.

Update

We havent updated in awhile. Things have been a little crazy around here to say the least. The boys have been so sick. Josh was in the hospital once last week getting IV therapy. He has had a temp of 104 + all week and we havent really been able to break the fever. He also has been puking his guts out. You know your in bad shape when the doctor tells you that he will keep you child in his prayers and thats about all he can do. After 6 full days of being dealthy ill and the doctors ready to take him into more testing he finally turned around and is doing much better. He is actually moving now and eating. Taylor has just had a horrible cold and they are both still struggling with that.

We did go and get pics for there 1 year birthday. We cant believe our babies are almost one. We never thought we would see the day.

I will post more pics soon of their 1st birthday!!

Taylor (we had to do most of their pics in Black and white because they both still have horrible colds and their eyes are all red)

Halloween 2008

I know I am a little tardy in posting this but all of the pics were on Lonnies computer and it has been down for a few days. If you cant tell from the pictures Lonnie was Dr Suess, I was Cat in the Hat and the boys well they are pretty self explanatory. We went to my moms for a big party as usual. We had dinner, had a costume contest and played games. We had a great Halloween. Thanks mom (even though she will never read this, she has absolutely no idea what a blog even is!!)

Chilly, Fall Weather

We wanted to take advantage of the beautiful Utah mountains in the fall but unfortunately the mountains are not to handicapp accessible. So we settled for Adventure Learning Park. We still had fun and the boys had a great time discovering ducks. They were a little scared at first but warmed up to them pretty fast. It was extremley chilly. It took Lonnie hours (literally) to warm up. The boys werent too happy to take photos. They have both been sick.
They are 10 months old now. I cant believe we are going to be doing there 1st birthday in less that two months. It makes me so sad how fast they are growing up. I just want a pause button in life. Everyone told me that the first year was the hardest with twins. I definately disagree. Not that I am complaining by any means, I am so grateful to have healthy boys. But, the older and more mobile they get they more crazy our lives get. They are getting so dang cute together though. Lonnie and I could sit and watch them together all day long. They play peek-a-boo with each other and they chase each other, and laugh soooooo dang hard while doing it.
Well, theres a small update on our lives. I hope everyone is doing great!!
